Troubleshooting Your Valve System
To replace the Valve
1 Unpack the new valve. The default position of the valve when shipped is
position 1.
2 If the valve drive assembly is not in position 1—switch to manual operation
and press the manual advance button to set the valve drive assembly to
position 1.
3 If the valve drive assembly is in position 1—turn off the valve-pump
controller, then insert new valve with the drilling facing downwards and the
flat side at the end of the axis is in an upward position.
Replace and tighten the two screws. Turn on valve-pump controller and
check operation.

Drilling
Some earlier models of the valve drive assembly turn continuously when the valve is not
fitted. Place and hold a screwdriver in the slot to provide mechanical resistance. Do not turn
the screwdriver.
The shaft has some lateral movement because of its coupling.
