Power Supply Originated Commands
These are the commands sent from a Power Supply to a host computer.
STATUS state_name <crlf><lf>
tifies the current status of the weld data buffer. May be in response with “OK”
means that the Power Supply weld buffer did not over-
run since the last
data collection and all the data are intact.
“OVERRUN” means that the Power Supply
-
run since the last data collection and only the latest 900 weld data are available
to report.
TYPE type, release numbers, revision letters<crlf><lf>
Returns “HF25 1.00 A 37250” for the first release of an HF-2500A.
Returns the number of weld data available in
Power Supply
. The total number of weld data that
the Power Supply holds in the buffer is 900.
NAME schedule_name<crlf><lf>
Returns the current schedule’s name up to a maximum of 20 charters.
STATE state_name<crlf><lf>
Identifies the current state of operation of the
Power Supply. May be in response to the
Command sent by the host, or may be sent as a result of a state change from the
front panel.
state_name may be "RUN”, "MENU" or “MONITOR”.
