Decimal Alarm
Bit Value Type Alarm Condition / Description and Suggested Corrective Action
2 4 Fault f: Sample gas pressure too low
The sample pressure is below 1 % of the full-scale range.
Note: This alarm is used only by analyzers equipped with the optional
pressure transducer.
Corrective Action:
• Check the sample gas pressure gauge and ensure that it is at an appropriate
ow and pressure (80 PSIG) or as recommended on system drawings.
• From the Output Setup dialog box and conrm the sample gas Low Scale
and High Scale pressure settings are correct.
• Check for leaks in the sample system (see “Sample System Leak Check” in
Chapter 3).
• Check the solenoids (backpan).
If this doesn’t correct the alarm, take appropriate safety precautions, open the
Electronics Enclosure and:
• Check the pressure transducer.
• Inspect the Check Valves in the Column Block Assembly for signs of wear (see
“Column Block Maintenance” in this chapter).
• Replace the Customer I/O board. Contact AMETEK to verify operation
before removing this board.
3 8 Fault f: On-Chip A/D not responding
The Host Controller board’s internal analog-to-digital converter (A/D) is not
responding.
Corrective Action:
Take appropriate safety precautions, open the Lower Enclosure, and:
• Replace the Host Controller board. Contact AMETEK to verify operation
before removing this board.
