ATS Panels
In ter ac tion with ATS-2 is per formed through con trol and mea sure ment
win dows called pan els. These du pli cate the func tion of phys i cal con trol
pan els found on con ven tional test and mea sure ment equip ment. The pan -
els are avail able through menu com mands, toolbar icons, and keyboard
shortcuts.
A panel can be placed on one or more workspace pages. (Du pli cate
pan els show the same in for ma tion.) Many pan els come in two sizes, the
smaller hav ing the most com monly used fields vis i ble, and the larger show -
ing ev ery op tion. Dou ble-click on a panel ti tle bar to ex pand or con tract
the panel.
You can min i mize or close a panel with out can cel ing its func tion or ef -
fect. For ex am ple, you can set a sig nal’s out put volt age and fre quency on
the gen er a tor panel, and then close the panel win dow. The sig nal will con -
tinue at those set tings un til you turn the gen er a tor OFF.
