Learn Mode Toolbar
The Learn Mode toolbar gives you the abil ity to turn Learn Mode on
and off. Learn Mode logs your ATS op er a tions as you per form them,
build ing a macro for au to ma tion pur poses. See Chap ter 23 of the ATS-2
User’s Man ual for more in for ma tion on Learn Mode.
Quick Launch Toolbar
The Quick Launch toolbar al lows you to ac cess user-de fined func tions.
You can cre ate Quick Launch but tons to open ATS tests, run AP Ba sic
mac ros, and launch other Win dows pro grams. See Chap ter 2 of the ATS-2
User’s Man ual for in struc tions on cus tom iz ing and us ing the Quick Launch
toolbar.
Using Files with ATS
Part of the power of ATS is its abil ity to cre ate, store, load, and run files
which con tain test setup and mea sure ment data in for ma tion. The pri mary
doc u ment in the ATS soft ware is the test, al though ATS uses other file
types as well.
Test Files
When you first launch ATS, a de fault setup is loaded. You can mod ify
this ini tial setup by open ing or clos ing pan els, chang ing con fig u ra tion,
mak ing set tings, run ning a sweep, and so on. You can then save your cus -
tom setup as a test. ATS saves the in stru ment and sweep setup in for ma -
tion, the in put and out put con fig u ra tion, and the panel sizes and po si tions.
If you have run a sweep and col lected data, the data is also saved in the
test file.
The file name ex ten sion for test files is:
