Compute Menu
The Com pute menu gives ac cess to ATS’s built-in post-pro cess ing func -
tions. Data col lected dur ing a sweep is avail able for post-pro cess ing. See
Chap ter 19 of the ATS-2 User’s Man ual for details.
Macro Menu
The Macro menu al lows you to ac cess the ed it ing and de bug ging func -
tions for AP Ba sic mac ros. AP Ba sic is the pro gram ming lan guage sup plied
with ATS, and mac ros can be writ ten to con trol all as pects of ATS-2 func -
tion al ity. See Chap ter 23 of the ATS-2 User’s Man ual for details.
Utilities Menu
The Util i ties menu al lows you to ini tial ize and con fig ure the hard ware,
and ma nip u late the sys tem log file. It also launches the multitone cre ation
tool. See Chap ter 25 of the ATS-2 User’s Man ual for details.
Window Menu
The Win dow menu lists the cur rent open pan els and al lows them to be
ar ranged au to mat i cally in the workspace.
Help Menu
The Help menu al lows you to ac cess ATS’s on-line help sys tem. You can
also use the F1 key to ac cess help for a par tic u lar con trol or panel field.
Status Bar
The Sta tus bar runs across the bot tom of the workspace. The left por tion
dis plays the fol low ing in for ma tion:

Current hardware status.
§
Information about the button or menu item currently under the
mouse pointer.
At the right, the Sta tus bar shows the workspace page tabs. A bold tab
la bel in di cates that a page con tains at least one panel. The cur rently dis -
played page is high lighted. Click on a tab to switch pages.
