Waveform Files
For cer tain func tions, in clud ing FFT dis plays and some types of in ter -
face anal y sis, ATS-2 ac quires a sam ple of the in put wave form. These sam -
ples can be saved as wave form files and later opened by ATS for further
use.
The file name ex ten sions for wave form files are:

AP stereo waveform file (generator)—*.ags
§
AP stereo waveform file (analyzer)—*.aas
§
AP mono waveform file (generator)—*.agm
§
AP mono waveform file (analyzer)—*.aam
§
AP digital interface waveform file—*.aai
Log File
ATS can gen er ate a log file for de bug ging. The log file con tains er ror
mes sages, file and sweep ac tiv ity, graph in for ma tion, and pass/fail test
results.
The file name ex ten sion for the log file is:

AP log file—*.alg
The log file is en abled and set up on the Con fig u ra tion panel, and is dis -
cussed in de tail in Chap ter 25 of the ATS-2 User’s Man ual.
Downloadable Filter Files
ATS-2 can make use of cus tom fil ters de signed and down loaded by the
user. Down load able fil ters are de fined in text files whose for mat is de -
scribed in Ap pen dix D of the ATS-2 User’s Man ual.
The file name ex ten sions for down load able fil ter files are:

AP downloadable lowpass filter file—*.afl
§
AP downloadable highpass filter file—*.afh
§
AP downloadable weighting filter file—*.afw
