•  Par 1910 should be put on 1 and then the motor should be started with belt  
disconnected ! !

The busy sign will shown on the umaster. 
After some time the normal display reappears and you can start using the umaster. 
•  Switch on drum   
 verify start current    Istart =  ?  Ampere  maximum 
 verify normal current    Inom = +/-     ..  Ampere 
 verify start time       Tstart = +/-    20 sec 
•  Switch of MM  
 verify stop time      Tstop =  15 sec 
•  Check if the drum spins in the correct direction. 
•  Be sure the drumspeeds are correct corresponding to the G table of the Maccon 
parameterlist .

Siemens also delivers temp sensor for break resistance but this is NOT to be connected. 
Remark
 
Check if the machine is supplied with the PKZM. If not , this means its an “older” version .  
In this case , the drum motor is supplied with a PTC and this need to be connected to 
connection 14 and 15. Don’t forget to change parameter P601 to  1.
