ADCPOT on MACCON
Connect the multimeter to the drum diode and set up: on DC, 20 uA.
Execute the following commands at the LTL prompt:
LTL > 0 1 ADCPOT
=>Sets potentiometer in feedback loop of amplifier ADC
=>from Maccon 2.5 the pot meter is always activated. So 0 1 adcpot is
not needed anymore.
LTL > SHINIT
LTL > SHOPEN
LTL > 4 ONEON
=>switches on beam 4
LTL > 4 XXX SAMP
=> switch on beam 4 with a certain (0 < XXX< 4095) amplification
Choose XXX until you measure 0,35 µA on the voltmeter.
Connect the diode to the ADC input on MACCON.
Then adjust the range of the ADC on MACCON so that the 0.35 µA DC
matches the value 2000(LTL>rdadc .)
Remark: The higher the resolution the lower the laserintensity has to be on the
film. When high resolutions are used (from 16000ppi and higher) the
ADC on Maccon has to be adjusted to a lower value so it matches with
the value 2000( LTL>rdadc .) Otherwise the amplitude values of the
DRV4x3 boards will be too low for low laserintensity(par91).
Ex.: 0.2 µA DC matches the value 2000
LTL > DO RDADC . 1E6 WAIT TILKEY
Turn into potentiometer on MACCON till you reach the value of 2000
using the LTL-command RDADC.
Check for all the beams with:
LTL>SHINIT SHOPEN
LTL>2000 0 TNB
