Checking the restlight
• Switch off all the beams

• Open shutter

• Connect your multimeter to the diod and skip the optic in front of the
the diod.

• no rest light should be present:
intensity measured < 0,04 µA DC
❖Remark :
If restlight is bigger then 0,04µA clean optic parts. Especially the
modulator. (Clean with aceton)
Shutter
Even when all the beams are switched off there is still some light on the
drum(restlight). The shutter is used to block the laserlight completely.
