Data Description
ADOLP ADOLP (Azimuthally Dependent Ordinary Linear Polarization) shows both AOP
and DOLP at the same time in false colors.
AOP AOP (Angle of Polarization) is the angle of maximum polarization. The image rep-
resents the angle in different degrees of brightness.
DOLP DOLP (Degree of Linear Polarization) is the linear polarization degree of total inci-
dent light throughout the 2 x 2 pixel field.
The brighter the image areas, the higher the amount of linear polarization.
Intensity Here, after having offset the brightness values of all four pixels against each
other, they are output as image.
POL0 The brightness information by Pixel 0° is output as image. The image is scaled to
the original resolution.
POL45 The brightness information by Pixel 45° is output as image. The image is scaled
to the original resolution.
POL90 The brightness information by Pixel 90° is output as image. The image is scaled
to the original resolution.
POL135 The brightness information by Pixel 135° is output as image. The image is scaled
to the original resolution.
POLMIN The output image is the brightness information of the pixel with least polarization
out of the 2 x 2 pixel field. The image is scaled to the original resolution.
POLMAX The output image is the brightness information of the pixel with maximum polar-
ization out of the 2 x 2 pixel field. The image is scaled to the original resolution.
POL POL (Polarized) indicates the total amount of polarized light. The brighter the im-
age area, the higher the amount of polarized light.
UNPOL UNPOL (Unpolarised) indicates the amount of non-polarized light. The brighter
the image area, the higher the amount of non-polarized light.
