11 Place a fresh bottle of alkaline buffer on the system. Wipe reagent straw
and replace bottle cap onto the new reagent bottle.

12 Load reagent information from bottle bar code into the system either
automatically using the hand-held bar code reader, or manually using the
keyboard. Refer to CHAPTER 5, Reagent Load/Calibration in this manual.
13 Select Done [F10] when finished.
14 While alkaline buffer reagent is priming, observe peri-pump tubing and
line for leaks. Correct the problem if leaks are observed.

NOTICE
If the fluid level of the Alkaline Buffer Damper Assembly requires
adjustment, proceed to "Adjusting Fluid Level of the Alkaline Buffer
Damper Assembly" before calibrating.
CAUTION
Pinching Hazard. When lowering the ISE module, keep fingers clear.
Lower the ISE module, reinstall the ISE module cover, and calibrate the
CO
2
chemistry.
