Check the seat contact switches for the driving functions.

Move the operator's seat to the forward position using the front/back
setting.

Shift the operator's body weight to the front area of the seat.
The operator's seat is not allowed to sink down and trigger the seat con‐
tact switch located underneath it.

Carefully press the accelerator pedal to move off forwards.
The driving function is not allowed to be carried out.
►
Shift the operator's body weight to the entire area of the seat.
After the operator's seat has moved down, the driving functions can be
carried out.
DANGER! Risk of accident due to persons being in danger areas!
A risk of accident is posed if persons are in the danger areas when
the machine is being operated.
n The operator must make sure that no persons are in the danger
areas when the machine is being operated.
n Should not all danger areas be able to be seen by the operator,
then he/she must assign a banksman.

Warm up the hydraulic system and drive motor (→ 8.4).
Where possible, check the undercarriage and braking effect on a sloping
surface, and check the movements function correctly according to the
operating signs for forwards and reverse travel.
