Please note:
The scintillation counter may remain at the measuring point if it is
certain that the conveyor system stands still during the check.
At the end of the plateau measurement, you may call the function
Check Plateau (in the Service menu, submenu Plateau) to display
the value pair HV steps/count rate .
Enter the count rate vs. the HV as in the above diagram.
The plateau lengths and gradients will vary depending on the de-
tector type.

If the pulse rate changes by more than 5% per 100 Volt high volt-
age, the scintillation counter will operate unstable and the com-
plete detector or the crystal-multiplier assembly has to be re-
placed.
While recording the plateau, the radiation conditions must
be constant!
