5.2.3 Basic Settings
These steps apply to commissioning as well as to any new
setting of the system.
To enter numbers, select the entry position with <> and the
number you want with <^^^>. Confirm any selection or new en-
try with <enter>. By pressing <run>, you can go directly to the
Live display (except in the Service menu).
1. Press <more> to select the General Data / Operating Mode
menu group.
1.1 Press <sk1> to select the General Data menu and then press
<more> to scroll through the parameters:
- Enter password and unlock or lock with <enter>
- Check Date & Time and correct it, if necessary
- Check Instrument Version (e.g. LB 442, Version: 1.10)
- Select Language
- Print Parameter, only if needed
- Factory Setting, only if needed (see also System Configuration,
page 49)
- Return to the menu group with <done>.
1.2 Press <sk2> to select the Operating Mode menu and then
press <more> to scroll through the parameters:
- Select Config Instrument with <^^^> and confirm with <en-
ter>:
- Constant belt speed or
- with moisture compensation or
- with tachometer
- Select Unit: t, kg or kg/m .
- Define Device address: Master or slave instrument
- Specify Detector no.
- Define Error Mode
- Select parameters for RS232 and RS 485 Interface (as needed)
Return to the menu group with <done>.
2. Press <more> to select the Measuring Parameter / I/O Config.
menu group.
2.1 Press <sk1> to select the Measuring Parameter menu and
then press <more> to scroll through the parameters:
- Select Measuring Product
- Select Isotope
- Select Measure Mode (e.g. continuous)
- Enter Time Constant (e.g.: 20 s)
- For constant belt speed: define Belt speed
- For moisture compensation: define Current Input, Current in-
put limits and Belt speed
- With tachometer: define Current Input and Current Input
limits
- Enter Belt width
- Select Product select external or internal
