b) Calibration
Proceed as follows
□ In the main menu, select sk1: Calibrate and then the
sk2: Calibrate
submenu.
□ Select the product to calibrate (no. 1...10). Select the
same product number in the Measuring Parameter
menu!
□ Select sk1: Data Input submenu.
□ Load product on conveyor belt and start conveyor belt.
□ When the product has reached the measuring frame,
push the <run> button. The computer starts counting
the time and averages the count rate and speed over the
measurement.
□ If the material used for comparative weighing has
passed the measuring frame, push <run> to stop the
measurement. The averaged count rate and belt speed
as well as the measuring time is displayed.
□ If you confirm the 3 values with <enter>, the prompt
Comparative weight appears.
□ Enter result of comparative measurement.
□ Confirm value with <enter>.
□ Go to next calibration point with <more>. To use an-
other calibration point, proceed as described. To use no
further calibration point, enter „0“ cps at the following
Rate and confirm with <enter>. The values of this and
all following calibration points are then not
used for cal-
culation of the calibration curve.
□ Press <more> to scroll through the calibration points
that are not used. The display returns to the submenu
group sk1: Data Input/sk2: Calculate
.
□ Select sk2: Calculate.
□ Select calibration mode lin/squ/cub/auto. Calibration is
performed as soon as you confirm the calibration mode
with <enter>.
□ Then you can call the results with <more>: depending
on the selected calibration mode: linear/square/cubic
coefficient; and square error.
□ If necessary, enter a Factor or an Offset (see section 8.2
"Correction of Display Value " on page 77).
