6.2 Software Functions and System Configuration

Print Parameter:
A printer with serial interface can be connected via the 9-pole con-
nector on the front panel. Use a commercial zero modem cable to
connect the evaluation unit with the printer. (In a zero modem ca-
ble outgoing and incoming lines are crossed.)
Push the <enter> button to print all parameters for documenta-
tion. The printout in the appendix shows an example. A PC may
also be connected and the data transferred to the computer and
processed there using a terminal program.

Factory Setting:
All parameters can be reset to the factory setting by pressing
<sk1> and <clear> at the same time.
The current calibration data is lost when the instrument is
reset!
Operating Mode
Config Instrument ::
The instrument configuration is defined by the required measuring
configuration and the measuring task and can be selected by
pressing <^^^> and <enter>.
o Const. belt speed
Measurement with constant belt speed. The speed is entered as a
fixed value.
o with moisture compensation
Measurement with moisture compensation by feeding the moisture
signal 0/4 – 20 mA (terminals 28a and 28c).
o with tachometer
Measurement with tachometer (terminals 28a and 28c). Depending
on the tachometer used, choose either:
Tacho input
(only if operating mode with tachometer has been selected)
Tacho input as pulse input
Tacho input as current input
Tacho pulses/revolution
(only if Tacho input as pulse input has been selected)
Choose between tachometer types for 500, 2500 or 5000 pulses
per revolution
Tacho drive
(only if Tacho input as pulse input has been selected)
