6. Check that the trailer is properly coupled (see Section 6.4). Also
observe the checks before coupling hereby (see Section 6.2).
7. Check the function of the lighting and brake system.
8. Check tyre pressure and tyres.
9. Check that the nameplate on the machine is clearly legible.
10. Check whether the coupling device has the correct carriage shaft load
and whether this corresponds to the towing vehicle.
11. Make sure that the driver has the required driving licence class for the
towing vehicle.
