7.4 Connecting delivery hoses
Tripping hazard from faulty laying of delivery hoses.
The delivery hoses laid on the floor pose a tripping hazard and thus a
falling risk.
− During installation of the machine, ensure that the delivery hoses are
covered or labelled appropriately.
− If possible, lay delivery hoses so that they do not pose a hazard for
transportation and passenger traffic.
− Observe the regulations of the trade associations, especially the
accident prevention regulations.
Danger of injury due to defective or tearing off delivery hoses.
Torn or broken or defective delivery hoses and couplings can cause
personal injury and considerable material damage.
− Only use delivery hoses with an operating pressure of at least 10 bar
and a minimum diameter of 50 mm.
− Do not use different minimum diameters. This can lead to blockages.
− The machine may be operated only with mounted discharge stand.
− Use only approved and non-defective delivery hoses and couplings.
According to the safety inspection sheet for the proper condition of the
delivery hoses and their couplings, the following checks must be carried
out:
− Hoses for wear
− Hoses for cracks and fabric damage
− Couplings for wear
− Weld seams for function and breakage.
If damaged or worn, replace delivery hoses and couplings immediately.
Make sure that the operating pressure is correct.
