2.7 User requirements
Insufficient user qualification
WARNING
Risk of injury if the user is not sufficiently qualified!
If an unqualified user carries out work (during operation or
maintenance) on the machine or is present in the danger zone, dangers
arise which can cause injuries and damage to equipment.
4 Have all activities required for operation or maintenance carried out
by qualified users only.
4 Keep unqualified users away from the machine and danger zones.
The user qualifications listed below are specified in these instructions for
the different areas of activity:
User
The user uses and operates the machine within the scope of its intended
use.
The machine may only be used and maintained by persons who are familiar
with it and have been informed about the dangers. This requires technical
instruction by the specialist dealer or the manufacturer.
Only persons who can be expected to reliably carry out their work are
authorised to use the machine. Persons whose ability to react is impaired by
things, such as drugs, alcohol or medication, for example, are not
authorised to use the machine.
When selecting the user, observe the regulations specific to age and
profession
in force at the place of use.
Specialist dealer
Complex work on the machine may only be carried out by an authorised
specialist dealer.
Unauthorised persons in the working zone
WARNING
Risk of fatal injury from dangers in the working zone!
Unauthorised persons who do not meet the requirements defined here
are not aware of the dangers in the working zone. As a result, there is
a risk of severe injury or even death for unauthorised persons.
4 Keep unauthorised persons away from the danger zone and working
zone.
4 Approach unauthorised persons and direct them away from the
danger and working zone.
4 Stop working until the unauthorised persons have left the danger and
working zone.
