2.3 Foreseeable misuse
Any use other than the intended used mentioned in section
Intended use
[}22] is considered improper use.
Any use beyond and/or other than the intended use of the machine can
lead to dangerous situations.
The operator bears sole responsibility for the consequences resulting from
unintended use or misuse.
For example, it is considered misuse if
– The machine is operated outside of the limits specified in the technical
data.
– Modifications are made to the machine.
– Safety equipment is disabled.
– The machine is used to transport people.
Exception: operator on the running board.
– More than one person is riding on the running board.
– The machine is used in potentially explosive areas.
– Loads are drawn with the machine.
– Non-manufacturer approved attachments are used with the machine.
– The machine is used with tyres that are not suitable for the terrain.
– The machine is used off-road with an inclination of more than 45°
(100%) or the tyres suitable for the application are not used.
– The machine is operated in an enclosed space.
2.4 Fundamental dangers
Moving parts
Risk of fatal injury due to moving parts!
Moving parts of the machine and attachments can cause serious injuries.
– Do not reach into or handle moving components during operation.
– Never open covers during operation.
– Note follow-up time: Before opening the safety covers, make sure that
no components are moving.
– Wear tight-fitting protective clothing with low tear strength in the
danger zone.
Lightning strike
Risk of fatal injury from lightning strikes!
There is a risk of fatal injury from lightning strikes!
– Do not work outdoors during thunderstorms.
– In the event of a rapidly approaching thunderstorm, discontinue
operation and seek shelter.
– Before restarting the unit after a lightning strike, determine whether
damage resulted and repair it if necessary.
