4.5 Fitting/removing tyres
WARNING
Risk of injury when handling the tyres!
Due to the weight and condition of the tyres, injuries can occur during
handling and incorrect fitting.
4 Be careful when handling the tyres and take the weight of the tyres
into consideration.
4 Wear safety shoes and protective gloves.
Personal protective
equipment
Wear the following protective equipment when fitting and removing the
tyres:
– Protective gloves
– Safety shoes
Special tool
The following special tool is required to fit and remove the tyres:
– Jack
– Socket spanner
– Torque spanner
Note on the description
NOTE
The following steps describe how to change from spiked rollers to twin
wheels and back.
Removing spiked rollers
Remove the spiked rollers as follows:
a) Lift the machine using a suitable jack. Make sure that the machine is
secure and stable.
b) Loosen and remove all five screws (1).
c) Remove the spiked roller (2) from the wheel axle (3).
