3.2 Load securing
Conditions for transport
WARNING
Risk of fatal injury from improper load securing!
If the load is not properly secured then the machine may fall down and
cause serious injury or death!
4 Do not attach lifting gear to protruding machine parts or to lugs of
mounted components. Make sure that the lifting gear is securely
attached.
4 Do not use any ropes or straps that are torn or chafed.
4 Do not lay ropes and straps on sharp edges and corners and do not
twist or knot them.
Securing the load
Secure the machine according to applicable regulations.
NOTE
Machines are secured using a combination of form-fitting and force-
fitting load securing measures. The machine must not be clamped
against the parking support!
3.3 Lifting and loading the machine using a crane
Conditions for lifting and
loading
The machine can be loaded with a crane under the following conditions:
The attachment must be disconnected from the machine.
The person must be authorised to operate the crane.
WARNING
Risk of fatal injury from suspended loads!
Danger from falling or uncontrolled swinging parts.
4 Never walk under suspended loads.
4 Do not attach lifting gear to protruding machine parts or to lugs of
mounted components. Make sure that the lifting gear is securely
attached.
4 Only use approved lifting and sling gear with sufficient load-bearing
capacity.
4 Transportation should only be carried out by appropriately trained
persons.
