8 Troubleshooting
8.1 Safety during troubleshooting
SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
Work safely during troubleshooting!
Carry out all work in compliance with the safety instructions listed
below:
4 Comply with the regulations listed in the chapter

work on/with the attachment.
4 Do not work in any way that could endanger safety.
4 Carry out the work in accordance with the requirements in these
instructions.
4 Comply with the relevant national regulations concerning
occupational safety.
4 Always wear the personal protective equipment required for the
respective tasks.
4 Switch off the drive system and secure it against being switched on
again (switch off and remove the battery disconnector) before
starting work.
4 Do not stand or work beneath suspended loads!
8.2 Faults during operation
a) In the event of faults which pose an immediate danger to persons or
property, release the dead man's lever immediately and tighten the
clutch/brake lever.
b) Determine the cause of the fault.
c) If troubleshooting requires work in the danger zone, switch off the
machine and secure it against rolling away.
Immediately inform the person responsible at the operating site about
the fault.
d) Depending on the type of fault, have it eliminated by authorised
specialists or repair it yourself.
