5.10 Limit load control
Function
The automatic limit load control ensures ergonomic working, e.g. with a
mulcher, at maximum area output (hectares/hour).
For this purpose, the basic unit automatically brakes the driving speed
when the attachment (mulcher) is heavily loaded, if necessary to a
standstill. With lower load, the machine accelerates automatically. This
provides an optimum, i.e. the highest possible, driving speed for the
existing vegetation. The load is detected by a decrease in engine speed. The
throttle lever must therefore not be adjusted when the limit load control is
active.
Prerequisites
Before switching on the limit load control, make sure that
– The "Attachment" switch is in the "Soft start/mulcher" position.
– the throttle lever on the basic unit is at full throttle (approx. 3500 rpm).
– the throttle lever is no longer adjusted, i.e. it remains at full throttle.
Switching on the limit load
control
To switch on the limit load control:

a) Press and hold the "Headlights ON/OFF" button (1).
ð The limit load control is active.
ð The limit load control can only be switched on with speed level "0".
ð The "tool key" lamp (3) flashes in the control panel.
Switching off the limit load
control
To switch off the limit load control:
a) Press the "Attachment ON/OFF" button (2).
ð The limit load control is switched off.
ð The "tool key" lamp in the control panel goes out.
