6.5 Safety functions
6.5.1 Overview
Inclined position/tilting
When the radio transmitter is in an inclined position/tilted:
– After about five seconds: the radio transmitter vibrates, a signal tone
(warning of shutdown) is emitted.
– After about 10 seconds: The movements of the basic unit and the
attachment stop and the engine continues to run.
Dropping the radio trans-
mitter
If the radio transmitter is dropped:
– Immediately: the movements of the basic unit and the attachment stop
and the engine continues to run.
6.5.2 Switching the machine on again after a safety
function has been triggered
To switch the radio connection back on after a safety function has been
triggered:

a) Set the "attachment" switch (1) to the "OFF" position (middle position).
b) Press the " ON/OFF" button (2) until the signal tone ("beep") OR the
"transmitter status" lamp flashes.
ð The radio is ready.
6.6 Operation
6.6.1 Switching the radio remote control on
To switch on the radio remote control
On the radio receiver:

a) Set the "Radio ON/OFF" switch (1) to "ON".
ð "Radio on" (yellow) and "No radio signal" (red) light up on the radio
receiver (2).

ð The "dead man's lever status" lamp (3) lights up on the operating panel.

ð The "radio operation" symbol (5) appears on the display (4) of the
operating panel.
