On the radio transmitter:
a) Insert the charged battery into the battery compartment.

b) Unlock the emergency stop mushroom (1) by turning and pulling it out.
c) Set the "attachment" switch (2) to the "OFF" position (middle position).
d) Briefly press the "ON/OFF" button (3).
e) Wait until the signal tone ("beep") OR the "transmitter status" lamp
flashes.

f) Press and hold the "ON/OFF" button (3) again.
ð The radio connection is established.
ð "Radio on" (yellow) and "Radio signal OK" (green) light up on the radio
receiver (4).

ð The "dead man's lever status" lamp (5) on the operating panel goes out.

Prerequisites
Before starting the engine, make sure that:

– the radio is switched on (see chapter Switching the radio remote control
on [}72]).
– the "attachment" switch (1) is in the "OFF" position (middle position).
Starting the engine
To start the engine:

a) Press and hold the "ON/OFF" (2) button until the engine is running.
ð If available: The engine speed is indicated on the display (1).
