2.8 Responsibility of the owner
The owner of the machine is therefore subject to the statutory obligations
regarding
occupational safety.
In addition to the safety instructions in these instructions, the safety,
occupational safety, and environmental protection regulations for the
machine's applications must be observed.
The following applies in particular:
– The owner must clearly regulate and define the responsibilities for
connection/disconnection, operation, troubleshooting, maintenance
and cleaning.
– The owner must make sure that all persons handling the machine have
read and understood these instructions. The owner must also train the
user and inform the user of dangers at regular intervals.
– The owner must provide the user with the necessary protective
equipment and issue binding instructions to the user for wearing the
required protective equipment.
The owner is also responsible for ensuring that the machine is always in
good technical condition. The following therefore applies:
– The owner must ensure that the maintenance intervals described in
these instructions are observed.
– The owner must regularly check that all safety devices are in perfect
working order and complete.
