4.2.4 Checking and topping up hydraulic oil
WARNING
Risk of injury from hydraulic oil leaks!
Malfunctions can result in hydraulic oil leaks, which can cause the drive
to fail and the user to lose control of the machine. This can result in
severe injury and damage to equipment.
4 Check the hydraulic oil before each start-up.
4 Check the hydraulic oil level at appropriate intervals during operation.
4 If an oil leak is detected, move the machine to a stable position and
stop. Then switch off the engine.
4 Take appropriate measures to prevent or at least minimise the
amount of hydraulic oil seeping into the soil.
4 Eliminate the cause of the oil leak or have the machine towed away.
NOTICE
Damage to equipment due to unfiltered hydraulic oil!
If hydraulic oil is not filled into the machine correctly, there is a risk of
damage to equipment.
4 Only top up hydraulic oil via the filling opening (see "Topping up
hydraulic oil" below).
4 Bleed the hydraulic system each time the plug is opened.
NOTICE
Damage to equipment caused by use of the wrong hydraulic oil!
If the hydraulic oil used at the factory is mixed with other oils, this may
result in foaming, which can cause damage to equipment.
4 Only use the biodegradable oil "Panolin HLP SYNTH 46".
4 When using attachments that are operated with other oils: Replace oil
if necessary.
