Checking the hydraulic oil
level
To check the hydraulic oil level:
a) Make sure that the engine has been switched off for at least two
minutes.

b) Screw on the filling opening plug (1) on the cooler.
c) Check the hydraulic oil level at the vent hose (2):
If the hydraulic oil level is below the centre of the visible area (3), add
hydraulic oil as described below.
NOTICE
Risk of damage to equipment!
If the hydraulic oil cooler is not properly vented, damage to the
equipment may occur.
4 The hydraulic oil cooler must be bled every time the plug is opened
(see chapter
Bleeding the hydraulic oil cooler
[}90]).
Topping up the hydraulic
oil
To top up hydraulic oil:
1
a) Screw on the filling opening plug (1) on the cooler.

b) Fill hydraulic oil (2) via the filling opening (3).

c) Check the hydraulic oil level in the vent hose: Check that the maximum
filling level is not exceeded up to about half of the visible range of the
vent hose (4).

d) Close the plug of the filling opening (5) on the cooler.
e) Bleed the oil cooler (see chapter
Bleeding the hydraulic oil cooler
[}90]).
