Soft start
a) Press and hold the "attachment ON/OFF" button (1) (approx. 2 seconds)
to switch on the attachment.

The "Attachment drive soft start active" symbol (3) appears on the display
(2).
b) Adjust the speed of the engine with the throttle lever (4).
Note on engine speed
NOTE
Driving at low engine speed by shifting at the appropriate time
protects the material and the environment. High mowing performance
is ensured even at low engine speed.
Exception: Full throttle operation during heavy work , e.g. with
mulcher, to ensure sufficient cooling of the engine by means of high
speed.
NOTE
The soft start makes it possible to start even large, heavy attachments
at low engine speed without damaging the equipment.
Flow control valve
NOTE
If the flow control valve (FCV) is installed, no pressure limit is active. As
a result, there is no overload protection when mowing.
