Weather conditions
Risk of fatal injury from insufficient adjustment to the weather!
Poor weather conditions decrease visibility, which means that obstacles and
dangers are not detected in time. This may result in serious accidents and
severe injury or even death.
– Wear non-slip safety shoes.
– Make sure that the personal protective equipment is adjusted to the
weather and the conditions (protection from heat/cold, and climbing
irons for shoes, etc.)
– In the event of sudden changes to the weather conditions (approaching
rain and storm, etc.) discontinue operation and seek shelter.
– Do not resume work until the weather conditions no longer pose a
threat.
– Never work in poor weather and visibility conditions.
Lighting
Risk of injury due to lack of or insufficient lighting!
Insufficient or a lack of lighting makes orientation more difficult, which can
result in injuries from impact or falls.
– Check the lighting equipment and adjust the lighting conditions if
necessary before commencing work. Replace defective lighting
elements.
– Stop operation if sufficient lighting can no longer be ensured.
Noise
Risk of injury due to noise!
The sound pressure level in the working zone may reach up to 90dB(A) and
cause permanent hearing damage.
– Wear hearing protection.
Vibrations
Risk of injury due to strong vibrations!
Strong vibrations for long time periods may result in long-term health
damage.
– If possible, select an engine speed at which there is less vibration.
– Take regular breaks.
– The coupling device for the attachments is designed to reduce vibration
transmission from the drive and attachments.
– Adjust the handlebar to your height and ergonomic posture.
– Do not hold the handlebar ends with more force than is required.
– Wear the protective gloves.
