e) Close the drain plug (4).

f) Close the engine oil filler neck (5).
g) Dispose of used oil in an environmentally-friendly manner in accordance
with local regulations.
Removing the engine oil
filter
To remove the engine oil filter:
a) Loosen and remove all screw connections on the fuel tank.
b) Disconnect the fuel hoses from the tank.
c) Remove the fuel tank.
d) Place a suitable collection container under the engine oil filter.
e) Clean the area around the engine oil filter.
f) Place the oil filter wrench from the toolbox on the filter and unscrew
the filter.
g) Clean the sealing surface on the engine.
Installing a new engine oil
filter
To install a new engine oil filter:
a) Apply oil to the rubber seal.
b) Tighten the engine oil filter by hand without a spanner.
NOTE
Also observe the information in the installation instructions for the
engine oil filter.
c) Fill oil into the filler nozzle until the level reaches the upper dipstick
mark.
d) Screw on the engine oil filler neck.
e) Insert the dipstick.
f) Start the engine.
g) Make sure that the filter and oil drain plug are tight and the dipstick is
inserted.
h) Switch off the engine.
