First, check the Link LED to ensure the connection with the remote port is active. If it is not, refer to the instructions for the Link LED. Next, verify that the port hasn't been disabled via a configuration change using the CLI, the Web management interface, or Brocade Network Advisor, provided you've set up an IP address on the device.
