1.4.26 Setting by country (Function code 74)
<Function>
This function allows you to customize the machine according to language, function settings,
and worker switch settings.
<Operating procedure>
(1) Press the 7 and 4 buttons in this order in the initial state of the maintenance mode.
The present country code is displayed.
(2) Enter the desired country code (e.g., MFC-9560CDW (U.S.A): 0301). The newly entered
code appears.
(3) Press the Start/Black button. The machine saves the setting and displays the
"PARAMETER INIT" on the LCD. The machine beeps for one second and returns to the
initial state of the maintenance mode.
Note:
When you replace the main PCB ASSY and rewrite the firmware forcibly, be sure to carry
out this procedure.
Note:
The machine does not work properly when an incorrect code is entered.
Memo: Memo
When the Stop/Exit button is pressed, or when no button is pressed for one second
procedure during the above procedure, the machine cancels the above, beeps for one
second and returns to the initial state of the maintenance mode. In this case, the modified
setting data is not saved.
