8. Pull the N-shield off the rotor with a standard puller.
9. Remove the locking ring (m).
10. Push the ball bearing (n) out of the N-shield.
11. Use a light blow to carefully remove the drive-end shield (a) from
the stator (b).
9.5.4 Cleaning
The motor should be cleaned dry, preferably by vacuuming it. Do not
wash the motor in water.
The insulation resistance on a cleaned and dry motor should be in
excess of 1
G ohm under cool conditions.
