• STABILITRAK NOT READY
Appears if the Stabilitrak
system is not ready.
The Stabilitrak
®
/Traction
Control System Light will come
on to remind you that the
system is off.
When the system is ready, the
message will turn off.
See "Stabilitrak System" later in
this section for more
information.
• STABILITRAK OFF
Appears when the stability
enhancement system is turned
off using the traction control
button or when Stabilitrak has
been automatically disabled.
The Stabilitrak
®
/Traction
Control System Light will come
on to remind you that the
system is off.
- The stability system is
overheating due to
continuous use for an
extended period of time.
- The Brake System Warning
Light is on.
See "Brake System Warning
Light" earlier in this section.
- The stability system takes too
long to complete its
diagnostic checks due to
driving conditions.
- The system is affected by an
engine-related or vehicle-
related problem. Have the
vehicle serviced.
If Stabilitrak was automatically
disabled, the message will turn
off once conditions are back to
normal.
