Emergency Trunk Release
Handle
NOTICE
The emergency trunk release
handle should not be used to
tie down the trunk lid or as an
anchor point when securing
items in the trunk. Improper
use of the trunk release handle
could damage it.
The purpose of this release
handle is to allow a person
trapped in the trunk to open
the trunk from the inside.
The trunk release handle is located
at the rear of the trunk.
The handle will glow in the dark
following exposure to light.
Pull the handle toward the front of
the vehicle to open the trunk from
the inside.
Convenience Net
This net, which should be installed
in the rear area, is designed to
prevent small things, such as
grocery bags, from falling over
during sharp turns or quick stops
and starts.
The net is not designed to hold
larger, heavier items.
Store items in the trunk as far
forward as possible.
