â– ALL-WHEEL DRIVE (IF
EQUIPPED)
The all-wheel drive system
automatically monitors and
adjusts engine power to the front
and rear wheels to provide the
best traction and handling.
If the electronic stability system
senses a loss of traction or stability,
all-wheel drive increases power to
the front wheels as necessary.
When you are driving with a spare
tire installed on your vehicle, there
may be a noticeable reduction in
the all-wheel drive system’s
performance.
A message may appear in the
Driver Information Center display.
See "Driver Information Center
Messages" in Section 1 for more
information.
â– VEHICLE PARKING
Manual Transmission (If
equipped)
Place your manual transmission in
reverse gear and apply the parking
brake.
See "Parking Brake" later in this
section for information on how to
properly set and release the
parking brake.
Turn off the ignition.
If your vehicle is equipped with a
removable ignition key, remove
the key from the ignition.
