ONE TO FOUR SKIP SHIFT
(IF EQUIPPED)
If your vehicle is a CTS-V model
equipped with a manual
transmission, this feature helps
improve fuel economy.
When the vehicle is under light
acceleration, you can only shift
from first to fourth gear instead of
first to second or first to third.
Under harder acceleration, this
feature is disabled and the driver
may select any gear.
SHIFT INDICATOR LIGHT (IF
EQUIPPED)
If your vehicle is a CTS model, this
light will show you when to shift to
the next higher gear for best fuel
economy.
The light may flash when you
accelerate. This is normal.
Ignore this light when you
downshift.
If your vehicle is a CTS-V model,
the tracer lights around the
outside of the tachometer will
indicate when to shift to the next
higher gear for better performance
and to avoid the engine speed
limit. See "Tachometer" in
Section 1.
