If the system is left on for a long
period of time, occasional wipes
may occur without any moisture
on the windshield. This is normal.
It indicates that the system is
activated.
To override this feature and oper-
ate the wipers manually, move the
stalk up to the low or high speed
position.
NOTICE
Turn the wipers off before
going through a car wash to
avoid damage.
The mist and washer features
operate as normal. They are not
affected by the Rain Sensitive
Wipers feature.
Your vehicle's headlights will turn
on automatically when the rain
sensitive wipers are activated. The
headlights will turn off when the
wipers turn off if it is light outside.
If a problem is detected, the
wipers will turn off the Rain Sensi-
tive Wipers. Adjust the delay
manually.

more information.
If the problem persists, see your
dealer for service.
Wiper Activated Headlights
If the automatic lights control
is on, the headlights will
automatically come on when the
windshield wipers have been in
use for about six seconds.
The headlights will go off
immediately if the ignition is
turned off or after the wipers have
been turned off.
