- Compressor kits not
equipped with a selector
switch:
Squeeze the tabs on the
buckle to release the strap
on the tire sealant and
compressor kit.
4. Remove the tire sealant
and compressor kit from the
vehicle.
Using the Tire Sealant and
Compressor Kit
CAUTION
Be sure to read and follow
all safety instructions on the
sealant canister label.
If it is cold outside, warm the
compressor kit in a heated
environment for about five
minutes before using the kit. This
will help inflate the tire more
quickly.
Sealing and Inflating a Flat Tire
Before beginning the procedure,
read all the instructions.
1. Turn on the hazard warning
flashers.
Stop and park the vehicle in a
safe place.
Do not remove any small
object that has penetrated the
tire.
2. Place the automatic gear shift
in P (Park), or the manual gear
shift in R (Reverse).
3. Turn off the engine and apply
the parking brake.
