The transmission will not
automatically shift into the next
lower gear if the engine rpm are
too high.
If shifting is prevented, the display
showing the current gear will
flash.
Manually selecting the second
gear position will allow the vehicle
to start from a stop in second gear,
giving better traction control in
slippery road conditions.
Manual Transmission (If
equipped)
If your vehicle is a CTS model
equipped with a manual
transmission, this is your vehicle's
shift pattern.
If your vehicle is a CTS-V model
equipped with a manual
transmission, this is your vehicle's
shift pattern.
The shift lever is located on the
center console.
