The settings are described below.
• SHUFFLE SONGS
Select this mode to hear the
content of the hard disc drive
in random, rather than
sequential, order.
• PLAYLIST
Select this mode to display the
six favorite playlists.
Select one of the playlists, then
select a song from the playlist
to begin playback.
After the song has finished
playing, the songs on the
playlist will continue playing in
the order in which they were
added to the playlist.
See "Saving Hard Disc Drive
Favorites" later in this section
for more information.
• ARTISTS
The number of files in this
mode will appear next to the
name of the playback mode.
Select this mode to play songs
by a particular artist.
The system will display a list of
artists. Select the artist to
display a list of songs.
Select a song to begin play-
back.
After the song has finished
playing, songs by the selected
artist will continue playing in
alphabetical order.
• ALBUMS
The number of files in this
mode will appear next to the
name of the playback mode.
Select this menu item to
display a list of albums stored
on the hard disc drive.
Select an album to display a list
of songs.
Select a song to begin play-
back.
After the song has finished
playing, the songs will
continue playing in the order in
which the tracks appear on the
album.
