Choosing the Right Oil Viscosity
SAE 5W-30 is best for your vehicle.
Your vehicle requires the use of a
synthetic oil meeting GM standard
GM4718M.
Substitute oil not meeting GM
Standard GM4718M should not
be used for an oil change.
If you are unable to find oil of the
recommended viscosity, then
consider the range of temperature
your vehicle will be operated in
before the next oil change and use
the chart above to choose an
alternative that meets quality
standards.
Do not use SAE 20W-50 or any
other viscosity oil not
recommended.
