Theanti-theftprotectionhastobeactivatedwhenyouare
shuttingdowntheengine.TurntheignitionkeyfromONto
OFFforabout2satatimeuntiltheaudiblealarmdevice
sounds.Theiconoftheanti-theftprotectionisdisplayed
onthescreen,theanti-theftprotectionisactivated,now
theaccesscodewillhavetobeenteredwhenstartingthe
engine.
Youarenotobligedtoactivatetheanti-theftprotection.
Inthatcase,turntheignitionkeytoOFFpositionwhen
shuttingdowntheengine.Inthatconguration,itwillnot
benecessarytoenterthecodewhenstartingtheengine.

NOTE:iftheanti-theftprotectionwasactivatedthelast
timetheenginewasshutdown,itwillthenbenecessary
toentertheaccesscodebeforebeingablestartitagain.
1.TurntheignitionkeytotheONposition.Themessage
PASSWORD?andfourboxeswillappearonthedis-
playscreen.
2.Enterthecodeinthesamemannerasduringregistra-
tion.Onceallfourdigitshavebeenentered,validate
withthebutton(5).

Iftheaccesscodehasbeenenteredcorrectly,theicon
oftheanti-theftprotectionwilldisappearfromthescreen
anditwillbepossibletostarttheengine.Ifthecodeis
differentfromtheoneregistered,themessageERROR!
isdisplayedandtheoperationhastoberestarted.Place
theignitionkeytoOFFpositionandrepeattheprocedure.
NOTE:iftheanti-theftprotectionwasactivatedthelast
timetheenginewasturnedoff,itwillstillbepossibleto
startthemachinewithouttheaccesscode,orwiththe
wrongcode,buttheenginewillrunatidlespeed,andwill
stopifthemachineishandled.
