Tocheckthetravelreductiongearsoillevel,proceed
asfollows:
1.Parkthemachineonat,horizontalground.
2.Movethemachinesothatplug(1)isinthe
lowestpossibleposition.
3.Stoptheengineandremovetheignitionkey.
4.Slowlyloosentheplug(3)toreleaseanyresid-
ualpressure.
5.Removetheplug(2)andchecktheoillevel.
Thelevelmustcomeuptothebottomedgeof
theport(2).Ifrequired,removetheplug(3)
andtopupthroughthisportuntiloilcomesup
tothebottomedgeoftheport(2).
6.Ifnecessary,replacethesealsofplugs(2)and
(3)thenreplacetheplugs.
7.Repeatthesameoperationsfortheothertravel
reductiongear.
8.Travelslowlywiththemachineandmakesure
therearenoleaks.

Todrainthesedimentsandwaterfromthehydraulic
oiltankproceedasfollows:
•
Placeareceptacleofasuitablecapacityunder
thedrainplug.
•
Openthedrainplugonthebottomofthetank
anddrainthesedimentandwateraccumulated
atthebottomofthetank.
•
Afterdraining,closethedrainplug.
•
Addhydraulicoilifnecessary.
