Respectthemaintenanceintervalsbycheckingthehourmetereveryday.Beforestartingmaintenance,parkthe
machineonat,rmground,awayfromanyobstacles,withthedipperretractedandthebucketontheground.
Lowerthedozerblade(ifequipped)untilitrestsontheground.Unlessotherwisespecied,allmaintenanceoper-
ationsmustbecarriedoutwiththeenginestoppedandthekeyremovedfromtheignitionkey.Itispreferableto
waitforallcircuitstocooldownbeforestartingwork.

Cleanthegreasettingsbeforelubrication.Cleanaroundplugsandllerholesbeforeaddinguid.Nodustor
dirtmustenterthecomponentsorthecircuits.Wearsuitableclothingandremembertousethenecessarysafety
equipment.

Whencarryingoutserviceworkonthemachine,placea"Donotoperate"tagontheinstrumentpanel.Neverclimb
downfromtheoperator'scompartmentleavingtheenginerunning.

Removethenecessarylowerpanelsduringmaintenanceofcertainmachinecomponents.

Makesurethelowerpanelsareproperlyclosedbeforedrivingthemachine.
Failuretocomplycouldresultindeathorseriousinjury.
