Symptoms Checks Remedies
Poor printing
1. The “SA2 Head” is dirty.
2. Thickness adjustment is improper.
3. Is +24V supplied to pins 5, 6 and 7 of
J14 on the “SA Main PCB”?
1. Clean it with a head cleaner.
2. Adjust the media thickness
adjustment dial to suit to the media
thickness being used.
3. Replace the “SA Power Supply”.
Uneven print density 1. Head balance is improper.
Uneven print density may appear either
on the right side or the left side.
1. Adjust the media width adjustment
dial to suit to the media width
being used.
Printing is slantwise 1. Is the left side “Holder Paper 127”
correctly installed?
1. Align the inner surface of the
“Holder Paper 127” with the paper
guides of the main body.
Refer to “3-7-2. “Holder Paper
127” Position Adjustment”.
