3-6 Disassembly, Reassembly and Lubrication
3-21 CL-S400DT
Notes on reassembling:
• Before assembling the “Lever R Cover Lock”, turn it
clockwise and inset its end into the slit of the frame.
(Refer to the above enlarged view.)
• Note that the “Spring Cover Open Knob” is free. It is
simply supported by the “Knob Cover Open” and the
frame.
• Turn over the “Lever R Cover Lock” and apply grease to
the places marked with “”.
Lever R Cover Lock (6 places): FLOIL G-311S
3-6-11. SA Adjust Sensor U
1. Remove the “SA Cover”. Refer to “3-6-2 SA Cover and SA LCD PCB”.
2. Remove the “Case” from the main body. Refer to “
3-6-3 Case”.
3. Disconnect the “SA Mechanism Frame” from the “SA2 Base Frame”. Refer to “
3-6-4
Disconnecting “SA Mechanism Frame” from “SA2 Base Frame””.
4. Disassemble the “SA Mechanism Frame”. Refer to “
3-6-7 Disassembly of “SA Mechanism
Frame””.
5. Remove 2 “E-Ring, 2” and detach the “Shaft Roller” and 2 “Roller Guide Paper U”.
6. Peel off the “Sheet Adjust Sensor U”, “Label, Heat Caution-02” and “Sheet Head Insulation”.
7. Remove 2 screws (BHT (PT), M2.6x5) and detach the “Cover Adjust Sensor U”.
8. Lift the “SA Adjust Sensor U” block from the “Guide Paper U” to remove it.
9. Remove the “Pawl Adjust Sensor U” from the “SA Adjust Sensor U” block.
10. Remove 1 screw (NO.0 PHT (BT#1), M2x3) and detach the “SA Adjust Sensor U” from the
“Holder Adjust Sensor U”.
